Japan's oldest mirin maker, Kokonoe Mirin, is here. Founded in 1772, the company has provided mirin to Japan's top professional chefs and food companies throughout its 240-year history. In 2010, Kokonoe Foods Corporation split from Kokonoe Mirin's OEM division and was turned into an independent company.
